(NEW YORK) — If you thought the holidays were stressful before COVID-19, brace yourself for this year.
People reports that according to an unscientific study conducted by OnePoll on behalf of HelloFresh, more than half of Americans think Thanksgiving will be twice as stressful this year due to the pandemic.
The study, which surveyed 2,000 Americans who celebrate Thanksgiving, also found that one in 10 people are not even celebrating this year.
For those who do still plan to celebrate, the survey found 56 percent of respondents are planning to have a video call with their family if they can’t see them in person. Eighteen percent will also be cooking their own Thanksgiving dinners for the first time.
And, while it will certainly be a tough feat in 2020, 52 percent of respondents said they feel pressure to make this Thanksgiving absolutely perfect.
