We love our animals and we love to help animals in need. This is just what The Anti-Cruelty Society does—it helps pets and educates people. As Chicago’s oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization, they are all about compassion in action and they help thousands of  animals and humans by helping keep people and their pets together. Whether through adoption, access to veterinarian care through the charity veterinary clinic, low or no-cost spay/neuter clinic, or the SAFE program for people who need emergency sheltering for their pet, The Anti-Cruelty Society works to make sure animals get the help they need. Through its community outreach, like cruelty investigations and rescue, Pop-up Pet Food Pantry program, Friends Who Care—a program for seniors to help keep their animals at home—and so many education programs and services, The Anti-Cruelty Society helps where help is needed.
