Lollapalooza Day 3: Is it possible for one of the coolest DJs to be even cooler in person? If you’re talking about Surf Mesa then the answer is YES. The Seattle native dropped by backstage to hang with MIX Afternoon hosts McCabe and Jenny ahead of his first ever Lollapalooza set. They talked about how having your first song go viral is kind of like Daniel Radcliffe playing Harry Potter, working with a VJ for his set’s visuals, and finding new collborators through TikTok.
