Since 1868, Lincoln Park Zoo has grown side by side with the City of Chicago—from swans to science and from trading post to metropolis. As one of the only free zoos in the country, the Lincoln Park Zoo specializes in wildlife conservation, community engagement, and animal care and welfare systems that benefit zoo animals and wild ecosystems.
