Touring is hard! But it’s especially hard when you have to deal with things like giant, poisonous spiders. That’s what Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis has to battle while on tour. Dean stopped by the 101.9 The Mix studio to catch up with McCabe and Jenny of The Afternoon Mix before his sold out show at Vic Theatre in Chicago. Dean shared some of the big differences between touring in Australia vs. America, dealing with the scary insects of Australia, and the inspiration behind his new song, “Trust Me, Mate,” out now.
