(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — The White House is in the midst of a COVID-19 outbreak as the total number of people linked to the Trump Administration rose to 34 on Wednesday.

An internal government memo, sent out Wednesday and obtained by ABC News confirms “34 White House staffers and other contacts” have contracted the virus.

Two of President Donald Trump’s closest aides, Hope Hicks and Stephen Miller, both tested positive.

President Trump, who also caught the virus, called his COVID-19 diagnosis a “blessing in disguise,” and credited the monoclonal antibody cocktail as “the key to his recovery.”  The treatment was given by Regeneron on a compassionate-use basis.

“I want everybody to be given the same treatment as your president. Because I feel great. I feel, like, perfect,” the president said. “I want to get for you what I got — and I’m gonna make it free — you’re not going to pay for it.”

Only 10 other people have received the same therapeutic treatment as the president.

COVID-19 has infected over 7.5 million Americans and killed nearly 212,000 as of Wednesday, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
