Weezer‘s new song “Beginning of the End” gives you plenty of opportunities to air guitar, which makes sense, given it was recorded for the upcoming movie Bill and Ted Face the Music. If you find yourself shredding the air while listening to the track, we’ve got good news.
Bill and Ted stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have announced the #ShredwithBillandTed challenge, which invites you to show off your excellent air guitar skills.
“In our upcoming film Bill and Ted Face the Music, Bill and Ted are tasked with performing a legendary song to fulfill their destiny and unite the world,” Reeves says. “But they can’t do it alone,” Winter adds.
“Show us you got what it takes to save humankind,” Reeves continues, as you hear Rivers Cuomo soloing in the background.
Bill and Ted Face the Music will be released in select theaters and on-demand on August 28. Its soundtrack, which also features new songs from Mastodon, Cold War Kids and Lamb of God, is due out that same day.
